Ri Song-gum (DPRK -49kg) just smashed her own world records in the clean and jerk and total, not only becoming the no.1 49kg weightlifter in the world, but ranking above all other women in the sport based on the bodyweight Sinclair formula. Here she is at the Asian Championships 2024 snatching 95kg and totalling 125kg for a world record clean and jerk and total or 220kg. Her clean and jerk of 125kg is over 2.5 x bodyweight.
