Putin murdered Alexei Navalny, says Ukraine’s Zelensky as he signs France security pact

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Friday (February 16) that the security deal he signed with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron was ambitious and very substantive. The Ukrainian leader made the comments in Paris at a joint news conference with the French leader. Zelensky traveled to Paris on Friday evening after signing a separate bilateral deal on security arrangements with Germany. Zelensky also commented on reports that jailed Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny had died in custody. He said that Russians who vote for President Vladimir Putin in elections next month should realize that they are voting for a murderer.
