Extra lives and early characters in Castlevania III (NES) - Retrogaming Easter Eggs #shorts

In Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse for the NES, there are multiple different codes you can enter on the name entry screen for various effects, and most of them are pretty cool! To start the game with 10 lives, enter the name HELP ME on the name entry screen. Make sure you put the space in between the words HELP and ME. To start the game with Alucard in your party, enter the name OKUDA. To start with Grant in your party, enter the name FUJIMOTO. Isn’t that the hunchback of Notre Dame? To start the game with Sypha in your team, enter the name URATA. To start the game on EVEN HARDER mode, enter the name AKAMA. This will add more enemies to the game and you will take 4 damage from enemies even in the first level. ALSO at the title screen, if you hold A and B then press Start, you can access the sound test!
