“Metal Hearts“ is the first single from Neptune’s 3rd album “End Of Time“ which will be released on September 20th, 2024 on Pride & Joy Music! As with many lyrics, there are often multiple layers and underlying meanings where the listener frequently finds their own path and significance. This is also true for the story that unfolds in “Metal Hearts“ – which our storyteller reveals as an insight into Viking leader Harald Hardrada’s life in the early morning before a major battle. His task is to instill a calm yet powerful energy into his warriors before the final battle at Stamford Bridge. Neptune, originating from Stockholm, is a melodic metal band with roots that trace back to the 1980s. Their musical journey began with the recording of an EP in 1986, which was not released until 2018, along with a collection of earlier demo recordings. Building on their legacy, 2020 marked the release of their debut full-length album, “Northern Steel”. Without resting on their laurels, they followed up in 2022 with the EP *The Rebirth*, which features new recordings of four of their songs from the ’80s. Their third full-length album, *End of Time*, is set to be released on September 20, 2024.
