Sibelius: Symphony 1 ( Full ) - VPO / Leonard Bernstein 1992 (DGG) ***

Though this patriotic Symphony is somewhat under the influence of Beethoven and Tchaikovsky, Bernstein did make a great symphony of it in his excellent performance a year before his death.
