Love Love *SNAP* (Magical Witch Punie-chan AMV)

I made this video to premiere in the AMV contest at AnimeNEXT, June 12-14, 2009, in Somerset, NJ. I’m basically only uploading it here in order to do so before anyone else does, so as to prove that I’m the one who made it. :P (This is why I still prefer to YouTube any day: easily accessible staff who enforce the video theft rules, and no problems with A/V sync.) This video is an introduction to the series Magical Witch Punie-chan (AKA Dai Mahou Touge), the OAV series that takes the magical girl genre and parodies and subverts it at every turn. In some ways, Punie Tanaka is like many other magical girls: she has her own wand, her own transformation sequence, and her own cute mascot. However, this is one magical girl who doesn’t win most of her fights with magic so much as with wrestling and submission holds. ^_^ Just watch it; you’ll soon understand what I’m talking about.
