Flipdigits Monitor Algorithms

„the flipdigits monitor” plays algorithmic animations and reacts to kinect depth cam. it’s made of twenty mechanical flipdigits text screens mounted to a 1x1x0,5m box. flipdigits displays are usually used for informational purposes, ie. at airports or train stations – mainly because of low power consumption. the sound comes from the moving mechanical parts of the digits. the project involved programming the controller, developing animations algorithms and building the construction. description and code are available on my website: from #ksawerykomputery
