Law & Order: Special Victims Unit | season 14 promo

The 14th season of this crime drama picks up with a story arc that continues from the previous season, with Capt. Cragen (Dann Florek) waking up with a dead prostitute in his bed. While Cragen is investigated, Capt. Steven Harris (Adam Baldwin) is assigned to lead the squad, and he tries to run things by the book. As the season progresses, other members of the squad face personal crises as well: Rollins (Kelli Giddish) deals with her troublemaking sister; and Amaro (Danny Pino) and Fin (Ice-T) face ramifications from their pasts as undercover cops. Meanwhile, Benson (Mariska Hargitay) dates a mystery man. Some ripped-from-the-headlines characters include the author of a novel similar to “Fifty Shades of Grey;“ and a pop singer who’s abused by her boyfriend, a famous hip-hop artist. Guest stars include Ed Asner, Hope Davis, Jane Kaczmarek, Elliot Gould and Mike Tyson, whose appearance as a rape victim sparked controversy. 2012 - 2013
