Catania is a port city located on Sicily’s east coast and sits near the foot of Mount Etna. It is the second largest city in Sicily after Palermo, which is the capital. There is an airport in the city called Catania Fontanarossa Airport. From the airport you can ride a bus or taxi going to the city. There are a lot of cool activities to do and shops to visit and also it is easier to transfer from Catania to other provinces of Sicily.
