Static Rocket Motor Test - BPM-5

We love the smell of rocket fuel in the morning: Join us for the next firing of the BPM-5 rocket engine on Sunday July 26th. Testplan: All burns will be with 75% ethanol, 25% LOX and water. We plan to use our new DPR (Dynamic Pressure Regulation) for pressurization of fuel and LOX. Test of BPM-5/2 (Not flight) – Test of design and jetvane setup Test of BPM-5/3 (Flight) – Short burn to verify that it works Long burn, longer than 25 sec. to stress test jetvane and measure the guiding force.
