️ AFU POW Aleksandr Lavrenchuk tells about friendly FPV drone attacks when he was giving up The POW said that the militants were tasked with entering a treeline and finding the most advantageous place for a stronghold. Their movements were detected by a Russian drone, after which they were shelled by mortars. ’We were cut off at the beginning of the treeline, we moved to another part. But we were expected there. I saw a lot of Russian soldiers and realised that the most appropriate thing to do was to surrender. We just laid down our arms. It drives me crazy that our own FPV drones were attacking us. They saw that we were in captivity. They didn’t try to save us but to kill.’ According to Lavrenchuk, due to heavy casualties, the unit had to be provided with additional manpower. ’The unit is in fact already considered to be inoperable. People are expendable to them. All our people are from poor families. They exterminate the poor,’ says Lavrenchyuk. Russian Defence Ministry Source: MoD Russia
