She has a huge chum (like a wigwam or yurt made from reindeer hides) at her disposal. She harvests firewood every day, washes clothes, cooks food and raises seven children. All this is in the harsh conditions of the tundra. Pavel is the wife of a reindeer herder. And they are a nomadic people.
