On July 29, the United States and Japan convened the first ministerial meeting of the Economic Policy Consultative Committee (EPCC, or Economic “2 2”) here in Washington D.C. The Honorable Yoshimasa Hayashi, Minister of Foreign Affairs for Japan, joined CSIS to share Japan’s Vision for a Free, Open and Inclusive International Order Based on the Rule of Law.
