RARE Nordic Axe Restoration

Restoration of an Axe from the northern Sweden. This is a heavy huge rough looking axe that is going thru a transformation. See me restore this tool to beyond awesome. ABOUT THE AXE I bought this axe from a local farmer here in the northern Sweden. He told me that it has been used as a slaughter axe, to chop heads of chickens. Its maybe 100 years old and has been repaired along the way. So it was not original looking when I received is. Some one has been welding on the axe head so it would attach to a wooden stick. NOT good! ABOUT THE RESTORATION I started by removing the wooden stick. And all the nuts and bolts. After that I gave it a nice sandblasting. I removed the non-original handle fitting with my angle grinder and welded the two holes together.
