‘Less smug than usual’: Trudeau ’gift-wrapped’ Russia ’lifetime supply’ of propaganda material
Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan has taken aim at the “ultra-woke” Justin Trudeau after the Canadian Prime Minister was left “rather less smug than usual” following the realisation the House applauded a Nazi for his WWII service.
The Canadian Prime Minister apologised in a video where he encouraged his citizens to continue to push back against Russian disinformation and propaganda.
“’We must push back against Russian propaganda’, says the man who’s just sent a lifetime supply of gift-wrapped material to Russian propagandists,” Mr Morgan said.
“Most people with a basic education would be aware that Ukrainian soldiers fighting against the Russians during WWII were Nazis.
“I’ve no idea what he did or didn’t do during the war, but I do know he was a Nazi.
“If you want to be the most ultra-woke leader in the world, that is fine – I can do that too; remember the rainbow alphabet, don’t wear blackface, stop applauding Nazis with standing ovations – it is not that hard.”
