Snowy Owl Rides on a Small Ice Floe

On 1/20/18 my friend Gary and I were lucky enough to witness this snowy owl riding on a ice chunk in a bay of Lake Ontario. Gary took this video (...with my camera!!) as I was taking stills of the owl with another camera. Some have worried that this owl was stuck but it was not. We watched it float here for about 30 minutes and then it flew to another nearby ice chunk in a part of the bay that was a little calmer. For licensing or usage, contact licensing@
