Heavy rains claim 9 lives in Kisoro

Rescue teams are still digging through mud and water left by a flash flood in Nyarusiza sub-county, Kisoro district. The army and police are working with local authorities and officials of the Uganda Red Cross Society and have recovered eight bodies. A ninth person is still missing. The floods were caused by water coming down from Mt.
