Learn to Vertical Landing - Squadron to Train New F-35B Pilots

#f35 #fighter #pilot U.S. Marine Corps’ Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron (VMFAT) 501 and 502 trains new F-35B Lightning II fighter aircraft pilots for the U.S. Marine Corps, Royal Air Force/Royal Navy, Italian Navy, and Japan Air Self-Defense Force. This training is focused on teaching pilots how to perform short take-off and vertical landing (STOVL) operations on the F-35B.
