Making a Modern Tanto for a UFC Legend - Part 2

This is the second part of a video in which Walter Sorrells makes a modern defensive knife for jiujitsu coach extraordinaire, John Danaher. The blade combines the best of modern and ancient techniques and material to make a blade fit for the modern samurai. The blade is modeled after a type of tanto (defensive knife) known as an osoraku. Danaher, a direct student of Renzo Gracie, and instructor at Renzo’s New York jiujitsu academy, has coached such UFC luminaries as Georges St. Pierre. More at
