Antonio Vivaldi’s genius is exuded in ’Siciliano’, performed by the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra, an understated yet beautiful and melancholic piece. This piece can be found on the album Masters of Classical Music: Vivaldi. The painting, entitled ’Landscape and the Funeral of Phocion’ or ’O funeral de Fócion’ is by the artist Nicolas Poussin.
