TWISTED TRAILS - building the MTB Field of Dreams Ep.1

Turning over to a blank page can be daunting- and after 15 years of colouring in the same page, that’s exactly what we’ve got to do. We’re building 3 lines at Twisted Oaks Bike Park in Suffolk. We’re calling them the blue, red and black for now as we’ve not come up with names yet. These lines will be designed to build confidence and ability on jumps. In this episode we cover the first 40m of the 180m we have available. Rather than start things off in a straight line we thought we would take inspiration from the name of the park and make the lines twist and turn as they go down the hill. There will be wooden features, huge berms, big jumps and all sorts in between. We’re taking inspiration from some of the best spots in the world and blending ideas together to make something we could only dream of in the past.
