Simple Physics Based Plane Controller in Unity

Ever wondered how to make a simple plane controller in Unity using only the physics engine? Well, I did. And I made this video in case anyone is interested in seeing how I did it! Using nought but a free plane model from the Unity Asset Store, I’ll show you how to get a plane to take off, zip around the sky, and even get a spinning propeller and engine noises going. We also cover how to display airspeed, throttle percentage, and altitude on the screen. Just for the sake of appearances, we also set up a quick camera controller that allows us to switch between different viewpoints. Thanks for watching!
