Italy, the co-hosts of the 2015 men’s EuroVolley, stamped a 3:0 victory in their quarterfinal match with Russia to delight a crowd of 4,500 at Palayamamay in Busto Arsizio in their last home match of the competition. The Azzurri were simply too much to stand also for the reigning Olympic and European champions and powered by Ivan Zaytsev and Osmany Juantorena comfortably claimed a ticket to Sofia to play Slovenia - the real sensation of the tournament - in the semis.
