FRENCH ONION SOUP

This was a delicious dish I made for my family. Easy recipe, takes about an hour or two to make the whole thing. I used about three pounds of onions which is good for six servings, beef stock, bay leaf, peppercorns, fresh cilantro, fresh thyme, garlic, and white wine to make this delicious soup. At the end when the soup was ready I used my ceramic pots and added toasted French baguette bread on top and covered it with swiss cheese. I put the pots in the oven for 5-10 minutes to broil the cheese. Very tasty dish! Give it a try you will enjoy it.
