Bull sculpture DIY clay and epoxy resin art

Whole making process from clay to epoxy casting took year and a half due to a lot trials and mistakes in learning how to use silicon, rubber, stone dust and epoxy. Processes steps are as follows: -making the model in regular polymer clay -put on the liquid rubber in as many layers as it is need to achieve 4mm of thickness. Let it dry on air after each layer. -make the mold shape holder in polyester resin - fiberglass -pour in epoxy or polyester resin and let it dry -take the cast out of the mold and polish it with fine send paper Fine polishing is done before painting and varnishing. It is possible also to finish it without painting , only fine polishing, but in that case you are limited with pigment colors of the resin. Rubber mold is very good at the end and it can be used for unlimited casting of pieces.
