Top Irish dancer sheds light on the art’s history

Traditional Irish dancing is becoming increasingly popular in Russia, and not just in the capital, but also the country’s regions, and among Russia’s expats too. In fact, interest’s been so high that one of Ireland’s top folk dancers, Emma O’Sullivan, has been brought over to show the locals how it’s done. Starting from tonight, Emma will be spending three days coaching students at Moscow’s “Ceilidh“ folk dancing club. And she revealed a few of her secrets to us at Prime Time, when I caught up with her earlier today.
