Saved from the Scrap Yard! Challengers, Chargers, RT’s, Hemis even Winged Mopars!

Captain Right-time-right-place, strikes again! I was just out riding my bike when I saw this black Challenger on the back of a flat-bed truck. The owner was closing the gate and just about to set off when I leaped off my bike & pulled my camera out. It turns out he didn’t just have one sweet Mopar (which happened to have a 426 Hemi) he had A GARAGE FULL OF THEM. It was all a bit of a blur and I was still puffing from having been riding, and then being gob-smacked, and then non-stop asking questions. I wasn’t able to catch the whole story but it seems the Brisbane City (Australia) government had Assumed (confiscated/commandeered) his land and had to remove all of his possessions with in 30 days or lose it. Had he not done so, all would have been scrapped. If that had happened his only course of action would’ve been to sue the government to reclaim damages.
