A Canadian classic, crafted in 1 kg of the world’s purest gold

The quintessential Voyageur Dollar, this % pure gold kilo coin honours yesterday’s artistry using today’s engraving techniques. Both sides of the coin pay tribute to the 1935 Voyageur Dollar, a commemorative coin that has a special place in our history and in many collections. But instead of using the same reverse design, we went back to Emanuel Hahn’s concept drawings to bring his original vision to life, with all its nuanced details, and on a much larger canvas than the artist could have ever imagined.
