Link in the Wii version of Marvel Ultimate Alliance

A demo reel of a designer who wishes to remain anonymous featuring, among other things, the only existing footage of Link in the Wii port of MUA. Apparently, Activision asked Vicarious Visions (a subsidiary of Activision, who ported the game) to add Link and Samus to the Wii version in an attempt to please Nintendo but they were ultimate axed; the overall story is very fuzzy and unclear as to why: some say that it was because of a demo video sent to Nintendo of the PS2 version or an unfinished Wii build with a PS2 HUD (which makes more sense when you consider the number of PS2-to-Wii ports; in that latter case, what a bunch of morons.), others say that Nintendo vetoed the idea for they were snuck in without their permissions but either way, no one knows the truth. Can you imagine a repeat of the Soul Calibur II situation if Nintendo allowed them? And I’m not without forgetting the fact that Nintendo let EA use Mario in sports games twice... Note that this video has been trimmed and partly cropped at the beginning so as to remove all references to said designer for reasons explained above. Also note that this is the only video for which I take completely, absolutely no credit for. All copyrights and/or trademarks belong to Marvel, Activision, Vicarious Visions, Nintendo, id Software, EA Games and DC Comics.
