If you are looking to go faster on any machine like the Concept 2 SkiErg you need to make sure that you are staying as efficient as possible with your movement. The best way to go as fast as possible on the ski erg is to leverage your lats by keeping your forearms parallel to the tower of the machine and dropping your hips through the stroke.
