How to make a knife sheath with tribal Maori design

I made a Scandinavian “Puukko“ knife and decided to create a knifesheath for it with a tribal Maoristyle tattoo on it. The sheath is made from 3,5mm vegetable tanned leather, cut with a swivel knife and tooled with a set of basic leather stamps. For the lacing I used a “double loop stitch“, you can find some tutorials on this here on Youtube.
