Trying out the Wirral Heritage Tramway route (by Backdated TrainSim) ~ Train Simulator 2022

(Featuring a heritage Blackpool tram and the LNER J70 steam tram). The other day I was browsing the Backdated TrainSim website and found this awesome freeware tram route. This is a recreation of the real Wirral Heritage Tramway (in Merseyside), and though it’s less than a mile long, I still think it’s pretty cool since tram routes aren’t very common in Train Simulator. First we’ll drive the Blackpool ’Balloon’ tram from Taylor Street to Woodside Ferry and back, then we’ll use the J70 tram engine and see how she performs on this line. The Blackpool trams are available on UKTrainSim, while the J70 was made by Digital Traction. (No commentary).
