Kenyon Martin Catches Dwyane Wade’s Layup Attempt

February 28, 2004 - Protecting a three point lead late in his team’s contest against the Miami Heat, New Jersey Nets forward Kenyon Martin reached high into the sky to catch rookie Dwyane Wade’s shot attempt. Martin was credited both with a block and a rebound on the play and ultimately finished with 18 points, 15 rebounds, and 3 rejections in New Jersey’s 92-86 victory.
