Learn English Pronunciation - Sound / ʧ / - British Pronunciation practice

The next sound we are learning is /ʧ/. The sound /ʧ/ is an unvoiced sound, and it is pronounced in a similar way to the voiced sound /dʒ/: The tip of the tongue touches the alveolar behind the upper teeth. The tongue drops, the teeth open and the air releases to pronounce the unvoiced sound /ʧ/ like starting with the sound /t/ then continue with the sound /ʃ/. So, really quietly, really slowly: we keep the mouth really relaxed, we make sure that the tongue goes behind the top of the teeth up to the ridge by the bumpy bits, and we create a little bit of air at the back; get the air to be pushed to that narrow space at the top.
