It’s a great step forward for Haitian artists I wish to thank Carole Demesmin, @saumyadeva, Erwin Charles @nicebeatz_music_ht , Carlos Mateo and the mentors at @goodworkhouse for their support, guidance, advice and input. Because of you I pushed myself to create this unique masterpiece. The Rise of Minonan by Thony Loui. This artwork depicts the world of voodoo from Haiti. The characters in this piece represent the 21 nations in Haitian voodoo. Haiti was the world’s first Black Republic and earned its freedom in 1804 when slaves decided to revolt against Napoleon’s powerful French army. However, Haiti is now very socially divided, preventing the country’s unified path forward.
