Macrofunk EP Volume 2 is out now: Our new instalment of the Microfunk Extended Podcast is carefully compiled and mixed by Foans. Foans, a Colorado-based electronic music producer, is known for blending genres like lo-fi, ambient, house, techno, IDM, and glitch. Distinguishing himself in the electronic music scene, he opts for hardware instruments and sequencers over modern digital workstations, adding a unique, organic quality to his sound. Bop, the head of Microfunk, shares his admiration for Foans’ music: ‘I instantly fell in love with his music when the ‘almighty algorithm’ introduced me to his self-titled album and was blown away even more when he uploaded his 100-track release ’Classics’ to Bandcamp. I think I spent the entire month listening to the album on shuffle, over and over again, and absolutely loved it.
