US history proves it ‘doesn’t care’ about civilian deaths in Gaza

Independent journalist and author Antony Loewenstein says the US and other Western governments aren’t concerned with civilian deaths in Gaza given their own horrific record, and that only pressure from civil societies can pull the handbrake on Israel. Loewenstein was based in East Jerusalem from 2016 to 2020 and published a number of books including recently ‘The Palestine Laboratory’ about Israeli testing of weapons on Gaza’s population.
