Where The Man Shines : 7th and last song from Sanctuary’s second LP Resilience Rid of irrational fears and self-destructive behaviour, the protagonist seeks to reach a higher state of fulfilment and connection with the outside world. He plunges back into altered states of consciousness to penetrate himself and see the changes and serenity that settle in. An ode to letting go, Where The Man Shines is a quest for the absolute. An ideal to reach, perhaps utopian, hence the piece’s dark and luminous character. A still long and uncertain journey towards this higher state, where the man shines...
