The last storm of such magnitude struck in 2012. Other parts of China also experienced significant flooding, attributed to the torrential rains in the north. In Hebei province, bordering Beijing, 22 individuals have been reported missing. Rescue efforts are underway amidst the challenging conditions. The Chinese government has mobilized resources to aid in the recovery and rescue operations. Emergency shelters have been set up to accommodate displaced resid
