Fulton Recovery system / Skyhook / Project-46, Delta Force test Capsule drop.

This is video I shot back in the late 80’s at Edwards Air Force Base in California. I was 25 at the time and was ground support for flight test operations. We did 52 pick-ups ranging from 750 to 1500 lbs. Robert Fulton Jr, was very active during this design period. I recall seeing him at Lockheed Ontario, CA, laying on his belly on the C-130 ramp looking under the aircraft like a kid. At the time he must have been in his 70’s. This same C-130 S/N 551 is the same aircraft that brought back General Manuel
