Nadine Sierra - Bellini: LA SONNAMBULA, Come per me sereno, Madrid 2022, High E-flat

THE SONGBIRD: Nadine Sierra was born in Fort Lauderdale in 1988. She trained at Mannes College of Music and at the Music Academy of the West, where she was the youngest person ever to win the Marilyn Horne Foundation Vocal Competition. She became a Young Artist with the Palm Beach Opera when she was 14 and made her operatic debut there two years later as the Sandman in “Hansel and Gretel.“ She has won many other awards including the Met Council Auditions in 2009, the Richard Tucker Award in 2017, and the Beverly Sills Award in 2018. Sierra made her Met debut as Gilda in 2015 and has since also sung Zerlina, Susanna, Ilia, Lucia, and Violetta at the house. Other cities where she has performed operatic roles and gala concerts include San Francisco, Boston, Naples, Milan, Venice, and Paris.
