I posted it online, it did well and thus I decided to keep time-lapsing dust and storms. Here we are, over a decade later, and the amount of haboob goodness I’ve witnessed and captured on camera has been a blast. Incredibly fun, exhilarating and rewarding. It started as a passion, turned into a business and now I consult annually with production companies on how to capture them on film. I’ve always wanted to do a short film displaying nothing but dust and haboobs, and it made sense to do it after collecting tens years worth of footage. This film doesn’t show all of the clips for sure, but it’s just most of my favorites, spanning the time period from 2011 to 2021. So some of this is older quality, not the 8K level I’ve been shooting at since 2016, but it still looks great to me!
