DIY Rotating Storage Rack for Tamiya 10mL Enamel Paints

Hi from Miss Diorama. In this video, I show you how I made another hobby paint storage rack solution, which you can also make for yourself. I have available the SVG laser cut files or the kit for those who would like to get their hands on one of these, available at the following link: Link coming very soon – Please be sure to check back later! Also, here is a link to my carousel style Hobby Paint Rack for Army Painter Paints video: Be sure to check it out if you haven’t already done so! I wanted a storage solution for my son’s 10mL Tamiya Enamel paints, so I came up with a rounded design; but I wanted to be able to rotate it so that any one bottle could easily be selected. I wanted it to be able to hold at least 18 bottles, and to be vertical to take up less space. So, I ended up with a 2-tiered solution that would allow me to be able to rotate the top shelf independently of the other, using clever integration of planetary gears into my design. I hope you enjoy this video and if you do, please give it a thumbs up and if you haven’t already, please subscribe to my channel, I would really appreciate your support. I want to make special mention of the following YouTube channels (with reference to their videos on planetary gears) that gave me the inspiration to make this little rotating hobby paint storage rack; Rob Ives - @robivescom – this guy is surprisingly only a small channel, but he deserves to have so many more subscribers, so please go over there to his channel, check his videos out and subscribe to him as well while you’re there! Then there’s this guy 3d Printer Academy - @3DPrinterAcademy He provides a 3D printed planetary gear module which is also amazing from which I also borrowed some inspiration!
