This song is from The Rolling Stones Album “Goats Head Soup“ released in 1973. The single Angie reached No.1 on the U.S. Hot 100 Billboard Charts. An interesting thing I learned about Charlie Watts while working on this cover was Charlie never plays the HiHat in unison with the snare on the backbeats. In fact he doesn’t on any song.
