Frédéric Chopin’s Fantasie Impromptu in C-sharp minor, Opus 6, is a solo piano composition. It was composed in 1834 and dedicated to Julian Fontana, who published it despite the composer’s objection. The classic song “I’m Always Chasing Rainbows“ is an adaptation of this Chopin melody with lyrics about a person’s failure to find happiness in his life.
