Arctic Monkeys - Leave Before the Lights Come On Drum Cover

Over the summer, I got quite a few requests for this song. 85 listens and about 30 rehearsals later, I made this. Many of my videos recently have been Foals covers... with those songs, I was all about precision... I kind of laid back in the beat. With this cover, I decided to return a bit to my more front-loaded style of drumming you can see in my other Arctic Monkeys (and my Bloc Party) covers. I play more on top of the beat, and what results is, in my mind, a very aggressive and enjoyable video. Now, that’s not to say I didn’t also go for precision with this cover (I like to think I learned just about every note possible), but I do think you’ll find in this cover a different feel and style than from most of what I made over the summer.
