This is the DC Designs GR9 Harrier in a VTOL demonstration filmed at RAF Wittering, UK, on 6th October. Real weather is switched on ( light winds from 250 ). Please note that the recorder used does not detect the movement of the nozzles, as they’re a custom animation. The Harrier demonstrates a few of the characteristics of the aircraft, including hover versatility and the famous bow ( I need to practice my technique there! ). You can see how the Harrier drifts with the slight crosswind, requiring constant corrections from me to maintain position over the runway. The package includes the AV-8B, AV-8B Plus and GR9 variants with multiple liveries, and will be available for both PC and Xbox from early November 2022.
