The Kaw river swamp in French Guiana is one of the world’s largest wetlands, hence hosting a great range of biodiversity. A French biologist set up camp to find a mysterious reptile predator in this swamp: the black caiman. The largest South American caimans are virtually extinct as they were all but massacred for their precious skins.
