Where is the Accountability for War Criminal Politicians and Generals

I spoke this morning in support of Senator Lambie’s attempt to table her referral of high ranking generals to the International Criminal Court. The Yamashita standard states that it is the commanders who must be held accountable for alleged war crimes. Instead, the higher brass in Defence “Leadership“ have thrown enlisted diggers under the bus and washed their hands of any command accountability. If anyone is to face accountability for the crimes they allege happened under their command, it is the higher brass and politicians.
