RAT INFESTATION • They’re attacking the chickens

Large rat infestation and they’re attacking the chickens. Pulling out their feathers and killing the young ones. I’ll be shooting rats in these chicken coops tonight. Running my FX Impact M3 600mm barrel air rifle in 22cal with Hades pellets turned down to 650fps to mitigate any damage to the infrastructure. My thermal scope is a Pulsar Thermion2 Pro XP50 LRF and I’m shooting off a Bexin ST424C tripod with Sirui K30x ball head to area swiss rail. Quite a challenging task especially at very close ranges. Squeezing pellets through small gaps in the wire mesh to making an ethical kill shot on the rats. All whilst avoiding the chickens. Approximately 80 rats were culled over a period of 3 hours, hopefully sorting out the the issues they were having. Definitely a few carcasses for the property owner to collect in the morning.
